[URPE] Economics Columnist wanted for NY Indypendent

To Economy Connection Members and Other URPE Members --

The NY Indypendent is looking for one or more radical economists to 
write an economics column for their newspaper. It doesn't have to be 
every issue.

The NY Indypendent is a newspaper published by NYC Indymedia, whose 
website is below:

They publish every two weeks and their circulation is around 10,000. 
Below is their statement of purpose from their website:

The NYC Independent Media Center is a grassroots organization committed 
to using media production and distribution as tools for promoting social 
and economic justice in the New York City Area. We are dedicated to 
addressing issues that the mainstream media neglects and we do not 
conceal our ideals behind a false objectivity. We hope to empower people 
to "become the media" by providing democratic access to available 
technologies and information. The NYC IMC is one of over 130 Indymedia 
chapters doing this work around the world.

The regular appearance in print of URPE-type articles would be a good 
thing for URPE, for individual URPE writers, for NYC activists, and for 
Indymedia.
