Definitely greater. Despite their major contributions being C/UNIX ('69) and
LISP('58) all three of those are not only still in major use but still ahead
of the curve in some respects! (except C) And later Ritchie had some part in
Plan 9, an attempt to take the next step with operating systems like they
had done in '69.
And McCarthy's contribution of Lisp is still unmatched. Mainstream languages
like Java are still catching up feature-wise! (But I'm a functional
programming nut, so I'm biased.)
