[Marxism] The Irish crisis - any comments???

Another request to comrades up there.  What is going on with the Irish
economy?

The Guardian headline on this was positively blood curdling.  The Irish govt
has 24 hours.  To do what?

The pace and shape of this crisis is amazing, really. There is much talk in
the Guardian  of how much  This phase of the crisis will cost Britain - $7bn
is the figure given. Shame about that.

 The Guardian also commented :

"Dublin is resisting pressure to ask for help because the bailout terms
would be punitive. Ireland would have to partially surrender sovereignty
over its budget and could also be forced to increase its low corporation tax
rate of 12.5%."

Is the "sucker going down"?
