Every sit down is unique, of course, but the common denominator is
that they all defy the basic assumption of bourgeois property rights
in the means of production. Why they do it is secondary.
While Larry's point is taken about the Republic sitdown not being to
the level of Flint, there were several years of smaller sitdowns
paving the way to Flint.
...And, as to whether the Left imagines itself in the thick of Flint
1937, I'd be very surprised if that many radicals today actually know
much about the sitdowns.
