There are no speakers who would be on the opposite side of a Deborah 
Lipstadt or a Raul Hilberg that would have to say anything of merit. 
What is the point of having a conference like this? The genocide has 
been definitively analyzed and document. There might be differences 
over whether 5.5 million or 6 million Jews were killed but that is 
not what the NY Times is describing. Furthermore, Ahmadinejad has 
shown a complete insensitivity to these issues. He keeps sticking his 
foot in his mouth like Louis Farrakhan used to and Iranians end up 
trying to explain what he really meant. This is just a function of 
the crudeness of the people who rule Iran, a pack of clerical 
millionaires whose servants in government are verbally radical but 
utterly useless when it comes to the real class struggle. For all 
their verbiage, they have had no trouble dealing with imperialism in 
the past. That's why Robert Gates has been brought in, I'm sure. As a 
principal in Irangate, he knows how to cut a deal with the bazaari bourgeoisie.
