yes indeed, and ditto for the bit about *others* not having "the stomach to
engage with views that you
don't already agree with", which rings with the same kind of moral
indignation, as the fate of anyone who doesn't successfully tiptoe around
his ego at the Marxism list shows.

so yeah, less than full points for consistency but full points for the great
revolutionary gift of stating the obvious, like that John Laughland's a
conservative, and that Russia's no longer socialist and Putin's not a
progressive, and that Yeltsin's bloody campaign in Chechnya claimed a big
civilian death toll, and Mbeki's position on HIV,  things which those of us
who've just stepped onto this planet and the A-list off of an asteroid
wouldn't have known of course.
